Certificate of Attendance

Registered participants will receive a certificate of attendance in their conference bags on-site. 

Media Check/Speakers Preview

All session rooms are equipped with computer projection. Speakers are asked to hand in their presentations at least 3 hours before the speech in the media check (Main lobby / Hauptfoyer). Speakers having a presentation during the first time slot in the morning are asked to hand in their slides the day before.

  • Tuesday 6 Oct        16:00 - 19:00
  • Wednesday 7 Oct   07:30 - 19:00
  • Thursday 8 Oct       07:00 - 18:00
  • Friday 9 Oct           08:00 - 18:00
  • Saturday 10 Oct     07:30 - 17:00

Official Language

English will be the official language of the Congress, there will be no simultaneous translations.

Oral Presentations

Computer projection facilities (Powerpoint-Presentations) will be available in the meeting rooms. Presenting authors will receive all technical information and instructions prior to the Congress in order to ensure the smooth running of sessions.

Poster Presentations

Scientific posters will be displayed in Hall 11. The size of your poster should not exceed A0 Oversize (88.2cm width, 124.7cm height).

Posters may be set up on:

                                 Wednesday 7 Oct        14:00 - 21:00
                                 Thursday 8 Oct            08:30 - 12:00 (at the latest)

Posters should be removed on 10 October 2009 between 12:00 and 15:00 (latest). Posters not removed at this time will be discarded. Adhesive strips for fixing the poster on the board will be available. Please do not use your own adhering materials!

Registration

One author, at least, of each accepted abstract must register for the Congress within one month after having received notification of acceptance. If the author(s) fail(s) to register the paper will no longer be part of the programme.

Speakers Lounge

The Speakers Lounge is located on the Mezzanine Level near the Media Check. Please wear the badge visibly, since status will be checked at the entrance. 

Sub-Specialty Societies

Sub-Specialty Society Meetings (2 to 4 hrs) may be held during the Congress. Societies are kindly requested to contact the PCO for further arrangements. Delegates and speakers have to register for the Congress at least with a day ticket.
