MEDIA / PRESS

Throughout the EADV Congress, the EADV will be holding press conferences and distributing press releases. Journalists with a valid press card may attend the congress free of charge upon registration. Registered journalists have access to all scientific sessions and to the EADV Press Centre, which is open daily during the congress. Press centre staff will be available to arrange interviews with physicians and researchers who present their work at the congress.
The EADV press team is pleased to provide media professionals with the following on-site support:

  • Personalized assistance in scheduling interviews with speakers and accompanying film crews, especially in the exhibit hall. Escorts can be arranged in the Press Centre.
  • Access to press room complete with refreshments, electric outlets, online computers, copier, fax machine, telephone, and a EADV staff person to answer questions.
  • Press kits, copies of the EADV programme and abstract CD-Rom available at the Press Centre.

The EADV will update information regarding all press events scheduled for the congress.

Media/Press Credentials

EADV Congress press credentials are available to full-time editorial staff writers employed by a trade publication, mainstream media outlet (newspaper, radio, TV, etc.), or online magazines. Freelance writers, contributing editors and journalists employed by news organisations attending the meeting for the purpose of editorial coverage will be granted media credentials.

Press credentials will entitle you to attend all scientific and poster sessions (except for courses and lunches) as well as the exhibition.

Accreditation will be onsite at the Media Welcome Desk. Journalists are requested to present a valid press card or a letter of assignment from the media organisation being represented to receive a press badge. Personal badges will be given when first visiting the congress and should be worn and visible at all times when in the ICC or exhibition hall.

Media Policies

PRESS

  • Media representatives are requested to pick up their badges at the Media Welcome Desk prior to accessing the EADV Congress. Press badges will be distributed only at the Media Welcome Desk. Journalists are required to submit an international press card or written editorial assignment to receive a press badge.
  • Press badges must be worn and visible at all times to gain access to all EADV sessions and to the exhibition. Access to the congress will be denied to anyone without a valid badge.
  • The EADV Press Centre is open to media representatives only.
  • The EADV does not share media lists.

EXHIBITORS

  • Company representatives may not approach media in the press centre and the press conference rooms.
  • The EADV does not distribute lists of attending journalists.
  • With prior permission from the EADV, exhibitors are welcome to display press materials in the EADV press centre. Please contact EADV´s press agency PublicScience in advance.
  • Setting up other press centres is forbidden.
  • Exhibitors are not allowed to use the EADV logo on their press material. Press conferences by exhibitors are not permitted prior to the first EADV press conference or at the same time as the official press conferences.
